The winemaking philosophy of Tenafeate Creek Wines is to represent the region's unique soil, climate and altitude. The red wines are sourced from low yielding vineyards in One Tree Hill and made in the traditional method, using small open top fermentors, a basket press and the influence of minimal oak for maturation to enhance the essence of the vineyard. With a breathtaking location on the ridge, bold and adventurous wines are being handmade and crafted, such as Italian varieties including nebbiolo and sangiovese, as well as the region's flagship varieties which include shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, grenache and merlot.
