We did the Cairns City Sights & Surrounds tour yesterday. Our tour guide was Eric & he was very informative & very interesting . Didn’t rush us through & was very patient when we took our pics. He has a very easy manner about him. The only disappointment was not being able to go inside St Monica’s Cathedral because of Covid-19. Very pleasant way to spend an afternoon. Thank you

If you've just arrived in Cairns and want a taste of what the city and surrounds have to offer, then this trip is for you. Our guide, Eric, was bang on time picking up and gave us lots of useful information. Lots of places visited in the 5.5hrs of the tour, some great views, lots of history during our half hour in the amazing museum, and the Botanical Gardens were beautiful. The trip includes a pit stop for a cream tea in Edge Hill. The tour culminated in a brief visit to Barren Gorge and Palm Cove. It gave us lots of ideas for return visits

The tour was a little boring. It was not mentioned until we had been on the bus for awhile that the place with the tea and scones, the scenic lookout, and Barron Gorge were closed. We spent 20 minutes at the museum and were told that we would get tickets that would allow us to return on our own. We never got such tickets. I have to say that the replacement cafe had some awesome banana bread. We drove all the way out to Palm Cove for just a few minutes in the rain. We chose this tour simply because our original plans had been canceled and we were looking for something else to do at the last minute. Probably wouldn't have chosen it otherwise.

Nice tour to get acquainted with the area. We didn't have time to go to Green Island due to time constraints to re-board our cruise ship.

Man wird wie beschrieben abgeholt und fährt mit einem Kleinbus durch Cairns. Eric, mein Fahrer, war ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr kompetent mit vielen Informationen. Anschließend fährt man in die Umgebung: Berg, Wasserfall und schönes Strandgebiet. Zum Schluss wurde ich noch zu meinem Schiff gefahren, super Service!
